Life in 3 month intervals
Kona went for his first post-chemo check up in late April, they performed an ultrasound of his abdomen, a chest xray and full blood work. The results show NO metastasis. He’s been doing really well and enjoying the warmer weather which brings longer walks and more visits from family and friends. I can barely see his surgical scars, a testament to the skills of the surgeons.
For now life is normal, but because of his history of re-occurance the vet would like to screen him approx every three months. So for now lets get outside as much as possible and chase away those intrusive squirrels.
