We’re chuffed
Kona & I would like to give the blogosphere a virtual high five! Cheryl, who authors A Life In Libraries nominated our blog for a Liebster Award. Her acceptance speech jokingly referred to the honour of being nominated, let’s face it, we all love a win ;-)!
As soon as I heard Liebster I wondered if the word was of German origin and yes it apparently is. It’s heartwarming to be nominated for a blog that has been a labour of love for my Schätzchen.

Thanks so much hafeezajaffer! I am honored. I did just did one of these a week or two ago, but feel compelled to answer your questions at least. Aiming for brevity, here goes: 1) Flight (would save a fortune on travel!). 2) Right. 3) I do! Weekly! 4) Pursuing something more serious. 5) Hmm. My grandma was homeless when young and I have had homeless folks live with me off-and-on for 25 years. Does that count? 6) Finish writing a book. 7) Red. 8) Mountain Dew soda. I know. Sad. 9) No. 10) Spring. Thanks again!
